I'm so sorry this is happening to you and so many other writers on here. When I was younger I used to write a lot, but the same thing started happening to me on Wattpad—it ended up becoming too much, so I quit. I haven't written much since (almost 10 years now.. yikes), and if I do, I'd never post it anywhere again. It breaks my heart to see this happening to so many writers I love. I wish there was something more I could do than comment and try to report the plagiarized works, but do please know we're all here for you. We're here to support you. I am so, so sorry this is happening. Truly makes me sick.
nonnie, i cannot even begin to express to you how much your words mean to me. and i know that other artists and creators will appreciate this as well.
i am so sorry to hear that this has happened to you as well. i don’t think people realize the severity of their actions. artists are getting so upset over their work being stolen that people literally stop using their gift altogether. it breaks my heart to know you went through the same thing, but also to know that you nearly stopped writing altogether.
i hope you write for yourself. i really do. you deserve to still feel the happiness that comes from writing and i am so fucking sorry that those stupid people stole that away from you.
