hi lovely! how are you? oh my gosh, i LOVE THIS. i don’t think i’ve ever been asked this before, or have thought on it, quite honestly!

i think that because fred and george both knowingly (attempted) to put their names into the goblet, there wouldn’t be much hostility. i think the jealousy that stems between harry and ron is largely due to the fact that ron believed harry had lied to him. i do think, though, that jealousy might get the better of fred for a little while, before he realizes that he’s got nothing to be jealous about because this tournament is INSANE.

i also think that being a part of the tournament would be a great way for george (or fred, if he were chosen!) to show everyone just how smart he is. they’re more than just “the funny guys”, you know? they’ve done rather advanced magic to create their products, haven’t they? people don’t take them seriously because they’re not necessarily the most serious guys though, are they? but that doesn’t mean that they’re not smart! i’d love either of them to just kick ass and be like “oh we’ve been smart the entire time, didn’t you know?” but they’d never do that because they’re too sweet and i’m just rude LMAO anyway i absolutely loved this question and could probs write an entire fic on it, tbh
