i always just pretend cedric didn’t die! makes me feel better. and i do also love a good redemption arc, they are my favourites. . . draco really needed one, in my opinion! so i’m leaning towards him, i think, and i’d love the story to be centered around him becoming really rather smitten with a girl during hbp, all while going through this very rough time with voldemort and things.
i think she’d bring out his more sensitive side and he’d open up to her. . . he wouldn’t feel like he needs to bottle things up. he’d eventually tell her all about his need to pull off this task that voldemort has demanded of him and how he doesn’t really want to go through with it and how much he scares him. they end up coming up with a solution and they both decide that his new girlfriend is going to turn into a chipmunk since she’s a metamorphamgus and she can go spy on voldemort, and even pass him some notes so he thinks they’re coming from someone else? i love the idea of draco being a total sneak, you know 😊 i don’t know though. . . how do you feel about the idea? i know you’ll give awesome feedback! thanks, alexa!
i totally agree — redemption arcs are so fun and such a wonderful way to explore a character! so i totally love that you’re doing this with draco!
hm, this is actually pretty odd! i wrote the exact same thing as my first ever fic when i was like, ten!!!! what are the chances!!!! now, i totally love the concept and how you’ve got a really strong basis for your story. you have all of this plotted out well and i applaud you for it. this is a challenging image to portray so make sure you’re very descriptive! 🙂
also, love the idea of draco being a sneak as well. he’s always been a little on the sly side and this will definitely showcase that. plus, who doesn’t love a chipmunk!
