As soon as you pulled away from the kiss, your eyes widened and whilst Fred was left smiling. Questions roamed through your mind and you felt as though you couldn’t speak, breathlessly you excused yourself: “I’ll be back…” You spoke softly, your eyes never leaving his until the song turned to a faster-paced one and you ripped your hands from his own, turning your body to walk fast away from the man who has stolen your heart when he had been just a young boy and you a young girl. Spotting Ginny who was grinning in your direction, she noticed the doe-look plastered across your features and didn’t hesitate to take your hand when you walked in her direction. The two of you leaving the tent for some air without verbally explaining your situation, she handed you a drink as soon as you left the tent and you swallowed it in one go. Needing some liquid courage after that unexpected kiss from your end, your emotions took over you and now you were left with nerves that rippled through you like a sparkler, igniting into a sparkling disaster of emotions.
