George leant his back against the brick wall, his arms crossed over his chest, his eyebrows furrowed as he glared at the Ravenclaw boy who was currently speaking to you. He didn’t understand why the git had to be so close to you, why he was leaning towards you and- why were you laughing? Surely he couldn’t be that funny… right?

It took every ounce of his being not to storm over and push the boy away from you, the only thing stopping him was knowing you’d be extremely annoyed at him if he did, which is something he’d rather avoid.

The conversation felt like it was going on for hours, though realistically George knew it had only been a couple of minutes, before finally he watched you hand the boy some loose pieces of scribbled-on parchment that you’d taken out of the potions book you were holding, bidding him goodbye as you turned to George’s brooding figure.

You bit your lip, taking in his frown and the harsh glare he shot at the Ravenclaw, who was halfway down the hallway now. Grinning at him, you stepped closer, throwing your arms around his neck as he immediately moved to hold your waist, “You’re jealous.”

“I’m not!” George defended himself a tad too hastily, making you smile, “I just don’t like it when other guys think it’s okay to flirt with you.”

“He’s my potions partner, he was asking for my notes from class,” you laughed, absent-mindedly playing with a few short strands of his hair.

“He was asking for a punch,” George almost growled, his hold on your waist tightening a little. You grinned up at him, “You’re so jealous.”

George looked at you, sighing, “I’m not jealous. But hypothetically speaking, if I was, it’s only because I love you so much.”

“I love you too George,” you gave him a soft smile before leaning up to press a sweet kiss to his lips, one he reciprocated easily.

“He does know you’re mine, right?” George mumbled against your lips, making you pull back a little as you tried not to laugh.

“Georgie?”

“Yeah?”

You pointed down at your attire, “I’m literally wearing a jumper with your initial on. I think he knows.”

George’s eyes widened a little as he realised you were, in fact, wearing his jumper. He gave you a satisfied nod, before leaning back down to kiss you again,

“Good.”
