you know something.

i’ve been in class for the last two hours. we’ve been discussing the importance of literacy in early education classrooms and how we, as teachers, need to instill in our students how wonderful it is to read and to write.

i had to go on and discuss that while feeling really poorly.

i’ve always posted my writing on this blog, but i really found my community over the last couple of months. i have made friendships and connections with people i never would have discovered had it not been for this platform and for our mutual interest in characters within the harry potter series.

i was in a rut back in january. genuinely didn’t know which way was up. didn’t have the energy, patience, will power or love to write. but i found my way back and have been cranking out stories since then. it helped me come out of my slump, creating these stories and interacting with people and hearing all of the lovely comments from everyone.

only to become heartbroken now to see that my own writing that i’ve worked so incredibly hard on and am so proud of has been stolen from me.

i’m so sorry to all the artists out there who this has happened too. it’s NOT RIGHT and NOT FAIR. my heart breaks for all of you. but please don’t let this stop you from doing what you love, and sharing your talent.
