i am very very angry right now.
i don’t know how many times we have to say it, but stealing our writing without our permission is not fucking okay.
as a writer, i speak for many of us when i say that we pour our hearts and souls, along with hours of our free time, to publish work that we are extemely proud of. we love to hear feedback and hear about how our work impacts people. we do this because we love it and because it means something to us.
to come on here, take someone’s work and not give credit or ask permission, is stealing. that’s it. it’s stealing. and it’s not okay.
DO NOT TAKE WRITER’S WORK WITHOUT PERMISSION AND DO NOT DISREPECT THE AUTHORS. 👏🏼

this has been a PSA. we give content solely because we love spreading joy throughout this fandom and because we love to write and make friendships and bond with people. don’t take fucking advantage of it.
to the people stealing (even if you don’t think you are): imagine working on a fic for so long just because you want too and because it brings you happiness. imagine pouring in hours of your own free time into it JUST because there’s a story swimming through your head that you need to get onto paper or you feel like you’ll explode. imagine posting it onto whatever writing platform you choose and receiving feedback from your friends and fellow writers and readers, helping you to build up the courage to keep on writing, only to have it snaked out from underneath you and posted on another writing platform by a random ass person. tell me THEN that it isn’t stealing. tell me THEN that you wouldn’t be angry.
oh right. you wouldn’t. because guess what? you’d feel exactly like we do. so don’t fucking do it to us and expect us to not be pissed off.
